Algorithmic Theory and Applications Laboratory (ATALab) is now headed by Prof. D. T. Lee, who is also a Distinguished Research Fellow and Director of the Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica. The Laboratory is located at R405, CSIE Building , NTU. We work on a variety of algorithms and their realistic applications. Our research covers Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Computational Geometry and Visualization, Discrete Mathematics & Graph Theory, Web-Based Computing, Software Tools Development, Bioinformatics, Network Security and Advanced IT for Intelligent Transportation Systems . Our mission is to study the basic theory of algorithms and use them as tools to improve all related topics. In recent two years, we have published more than twenty papers in top journals and conferences.

We now seek new associated students who are interested in our research. If you want to join us, please contact Prof. Lee (His e-mail is dtlee@iis.sinica.edu.tw, or dtlee@csie.ntu.edu.tw). Of course, you are very welcome to visit our laboratory directly. Maybe this is the best way to let us know each other.

The website of our laboratory is http://140.112.28.144/ATALab , and the phone number is 02-33664888 ext.405. We also have a discussion board named ATA_LAB in the ptt2 bulletin board system. If you love developing algorithms and wish to do top research in the future, joining us is definitely the best choice.
